KINEYA founder Hikoyuki Mukumoto, born and grew up in Osaka, got his eye on udon, a Japanese soul food, and opened an udon specialty restaurant “KINEYA” in 1971.
“KINEYA”, with meticulous attention to detail of its DASHI-broth, pioneered in chain udon restaurant business ahead of others, and has been loved for half a century since then. Nowadays over 300 GOURMET KINEYA group restaurants are located nationwide in Japan.
